Moni Fischaleck studied recorder with Günther Höller and Dorothee Oberlinger in Cologne and historical bassoon instruments with Lorenzo Alpert (Geneva), Donna Agrell (The Hague) and Christian Beuse (Bremen).
She currently lives in Berlin and works as a freelance bassoonist with various early music ensembles such as Concerto Copenhagen, Les Traversées Baroques, La Festa Musicale and Les Ambassadeurs - La Grande Ecurie.
She is also a co-founder of the Vereinigung Alte Musik Berlin (VAM Berlin), which is committed to strengthening early music in the capital.
